Stan Bush
Stan Bush (born July 10, 1953) is an American singer-songwriter and rock musician. He is perhaps best-known for his song " The Touch", featured in the 1986 movie '' The Transformers: The Movie''. Career Bush began with his first studio album in 1979 with a band called Boulder. Bush was primarily a guitarist for that band before the group split in different directions after releasing only one self-titled album. It was not long after in which he got his first solo album deal with CBS Records and released the self-titled ''Stan Bush'' album in 1983. Four years later on Scotti Bros Records, he would release his most successful album to date with ''Stan Bush & Barrage'', which is the album that featured " The Touch". ''Bloodsport'' is a 1988 martial arts film directed by Newt Arnold. An American-Hong Kong co-production, the film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, with a supporting cast of Leah Ayres, Forest Whitaker, Donald Gibb, Roy Chiao, and Bolo Yeung. The film centers on Frank Dux (Van Damme), a United States Army Captain and ninjutsu practitioner who competes in an underground full-contact martial arts tournament called the Kumite in Hong Kong. Based on Dux's real-life claims, the film was marketed as a true story. It was one of Van Damme's first lead roles and showcased his abilities, launching his career as a mainstream action star. ''Transformers: War for Cybertron'' is a third-person shooter video game based on the ''Transformers'' franchise, developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision. ''Joystiq'' was a video gaming blog which was part of the Weblogs, Inc. family later owned by AOL. It was active from 2004 to 2015, acting as the primary video game blog for the group, and operating alongside ''Engadget'' and sister blogs such as ''Massively''. From 2007 it hosted ''The Joystiq Podcast'', which was hosted by editor-in-chief Chris Grant, reviews editor Justin McElroy and Ludwig Kietzmann. The website's staff also included Justin's brother Griffin McElroy as weekend editor. The original podcast was discontinued in 2011, but similar shows continued for the remainder of the site's lifetime in various formats. Grant and the McElroy brothers left the site in 2012 to found the gaming website ''Polygon'', with Kietzmann taking over as editor-in-chief. The site's readership declined through the following years, and ''Joystiq'' was shut down by AOL on February 3, 2015. ''Guitar Hero World Tour'' is a 2008 rhythm game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. It is the fourth main installment and the sixth overall installment in the Guitar Hero, ''Guitar Hero'' series. The game was launched in North America in October 2008 for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles, and a month later for Europe and Australia.
