Stain (film)
Stain is a Ugandan drama film produced and directed by Morris Mugisha. It premiered in Kampala on March 1, 2021, and was Mugisha's directorial debut. The film received 7 nominations at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in Nigeria and Joan Agaba won the award for Best Actress in a Leading role. The film also won 5 awards out of 12 nominations at the 2021 Uganda Film Festival Awards. Plot A 29-year-old mother of one, Mina, takes over as breadwinner in the home when her husband Bomboka is maimed after a domestic wrangle. Morris Mugisha
Morris Herbert Mugisha, commonly known as Morris Mugisha is a Ugandan actor, director, photographer, model and reality television star commonly known for representing Uganda to the third season of Big Brother Africa in 2008 and his debut directorial feature film Stain (2021 film), Stain which received twelve (the most nominations) at the Uganda Film Festival Awards, winning five and also won an award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2021. Career Mugisha was a model and photographer before he represented Uganda in the third season of Big Brother Africa in 2008 where he finished in the sixth place during the eviction phase. He returned home and started a production company MOIDEAS where he is an art director, producer and copywriter. His first film production was a short film called "Fear Knows My Name" in 2019. Raymond Rushabiro is a Ugandan film actor, and stage actor. He broke through in his acting career with Uganda's most famous stage group, the Ebonies, appearing in a number of their plays. Rushabiro is also seen in Kweezi Kaganda's ''Any cow will do'' alongside former Namasagali old students that was shown at the National Theater of Uganda.
