Stadion Miejski w Starachowicach ''(English: Municipal Stadium in Starachowice)'' – multi-use stadium in Starachowice, Poland. History It was built in the years 1956–1961 and can seat up to 15,000 spectators. On July 15, 2001, on the occasion of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Star Starachowice club, a match for the Polish SuperCup took place at the stadium (Wisła Kraków - Polonia Warsaw 4–3). Starachowice
Starachowice is a city in southeastern Poland (historic Lesser Poland), with 49,513 inhabitants (31.12.2017). Starachowice is situated in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship (since 1999); it was formerly in the Kielce Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is the capital of Starachowice County. It is situated upon the River Kamienna, a tributary of the Vistula River, among hills and forests. History In the location of present-day Starachowice, a forge existed, which in the 16th century belonged to the Starzechowski family (most probably, the name of the town comes from this family). The oldest known mention of Starachowice comes from 1547. The settlement, which was built around the forge, belonged until 1817 to the Cistercians from Wąchock Abbey, located nearby. It was the monks who in 1789 initiated construction of a blast furnace (see also Old-Polish Industrial Region). English Language

Polish SuperCup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2021, the Polish Super Cup has been played 31 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant are Legia Warsaw, as they played fourteen final games and have lost their eight following finals since 2012. Unlike in Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. Juventa Starachowice
Juventa Starachowice was a football club in Starachowice, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Juventa Starachowice played in the III liga. They played home games at the Stadion Miejski. Previous to the establishment of the football club in 1996, the amateur sporting organisation also had an interest in tennis and athletics. History The club was founded on the initiative of a dozen supporters of sport and recreation and with the organisation and kindness of the Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the South Elementary School No. 13. Since the beginning the club the organisation has set about shaping the attitudes and morals of the youth along with recreation and amateur sport. Initially, the club had a major interest in tennis and athletics, however in 1996 it was decided that a football team would be established which would be coached by Chris Zuba.
