Srikanthalakshmi Arulanandam
Srikanthalakshmi Arulanandam, in Tamil: சிறீகாந்தலட்சுமி அருளானந்தம் (1961 – December 25, 2019) was a Sri Lankan librarian and writer, who was an advocate for feminism, media literacy and Eelam-Tamil bibliography. Born in Inuvil, the eldest of seven children, she studied at Sunnagam Ramanathan College and graduated with a degree in Economics from Jaffna University. She then pursued a degree in Information Science and Documentation from Kamarasar University, Madurai. Her career as a librarian began in 1989 as Assistant Librarian at Jaffna University and by 2012 was appointed Principle Librarian. Eelam Tamil People
Sri Lankan Tamils ( or ), also known as Ceylon Tamils or Eelam Tamils, are Tamils native to the South Asian island state of Sri Lanka. Today, they constitute a majority in the Northern Province, live in significant numbers in the Eastern Province and are in the minority throughout the rest of the country. 70% of Sri Lankan Tamils in Sri Lanka live in the Northern and Eastern provinces. Inuvil
Inuvil ( ta, இணுவில், translit=Iṇuvil; si, ඉනුවිල්, translit=Inuvil) is a village in Northern Sri Lanka. It is situated along the KKS main road, Jaffna district. The area is mainly populated by people who speak the Tamil (''see Portuguese Ceylon''). People The town and the surrounding area has traditionally been populated by farmers.
