Sportsnet Central
''Sportsnet Central'' is the flagship sports news program on Sportsnet in Canada. Originally known as ''Sportscentral'' and later ''Sportsnetnews'', it was re-branded as ''Sportsnet Connected'' on January 1, 2007 with an emphasis on more local coverage of sports teams. Additionally, Rogers-owned Setanta Sports (now Sportsnet World) aired a version of the show called ''Setanta Connected'' (later ''Sportsnet World Connected''), with an emphasis on international sports, although that was replaced with '' Soccer Central''. ''Sportsnet Connected'' changed the look and format of its show on October 4, 2011. The title of the program was again renamed on October 8, 2014 as ''Sportsnet Central'' to coincide with the beginning of the 2014–15 NHL regular season. Brendan Dunlop
Brendan Dunlop is a Canadian sportscaster and author known for his anchoring and hosting duties on The Score, FOX Soccer and Sportsnet television networks. Dunlop was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, where he graduated from Catholic Central High School. Dunlop grew up a sports fan and had aspirations of becoming a sports journalist from watching Ray Ramano's character on Everybody Loves Raymond. Dunlop graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber. He originally wanted to be an actor. Dunlop first gained attention co-hosting ''The Footy Show'' on The Score. Mike Toth (born September 27, 1963) is a Canadian sports anchor, formerly on Rogers Sportsnet's '' Sportsnet Connected'' and with the Fan 590 in Toronto. Don Taylor (Canadian Sportscaster)
Don Taylor is a Canadian radio sportscaster and former television sportscaster. He worked for TSN Radio 1040 in Vancouver until having his employment terminated on February 9, 2021, as part of the end of that station's sports radio format. Daren Millard (born August 16, 1970 in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada) is a Canadian sportscaster. Hazel Mae
Hazel Mae Barker (born April 7, 1970), known professionally as Hazel Mae, is a Filipino-Canadian sportscaster. She was the former lead anchor for the New England Sports Network's SportsDesk news program and most recently the anchor on MLB Network. Rob Faulds
Rob Faulds (born September 29, 1955) is a Canadian sportscaster on Sportsnet. Faulds graduated from University of Western Ontario, Western University and started his broadcasting career at CFPL (AM) in London, Ontario, London, Ontario. He then worked for CKSO radio and covered the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1994 Winter Olympics on location for CTV television network, CTV before joining CTV Sports full-time in 1995.
