South Gower A.F.C.
South Gower F.C. is a football club based in Scurlage in Wales. The club plays in the . History During the 2008–09 season South Gower were playing in the Swansea Senior League Division One when it was decided that the club should apply for membership to the Welsh Football League. Towards the end of the season the ground was redeveloped the meet Welsh Football Ground Criteria, following an inspection membership was granted. The club finished second in the division as runners-up to Ragged School. The club took up promotion to the Welsh Football League spending two seasons in the Welsh Football League Division Three finishing 10th from 18 clubs in 2009–10 and 16th from 18 clubs in 2010–11. Following on from this the club returned to the Swansea Senior Football League. For the 2020–21 season the club joined the newly formed Tier 4 West Wales Premier League. Scurlage
The Gower Peninsula () in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, contains over twenty villages and communities. Most of the peninsula is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Villages Bishopston Bishopston (, or historically ''Llanmerwallt'' or ''Llancyngur Trosgardi'') is an inland village, 6 miles (9.5 km) west-southwest of Swansea and near the beaches of Caswell Bay, Brandy Cove and Pwll Du. The West Wales Intermediate Challenge Cup is the regional knock-out competition for clubs beneath the umbrella of the West Wales Football Association, at the level of Tier 4 and below of the Welsh Football Pyramid in South West Wales. The Ardal Leagues are a association football, football league in Wales. The word "ardal" translates as "district" in English, with Wales split into four regions at this level. They have clubs with amateur/semi-professional status and sit at the third level of the Welsh football league system. The first year of their operation would have been 2020–21 but the 2020–21 Ardal NE, 2020–21 Ardal North East season, 2020–21 Ardal NW, 2020–21 Ardal North West season, 2020–21 Ardal SE, 2020–21 Ardal South East season and 2020–21 Ardal SW, 2020–21 Ardal South West season were all cancelled.
