Sonny Condell
Sonny Condell (born 1 July 1949, in Newtownmountkennedy, Ireland) is an Irish singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Graphic arts, graphic artist. He is mainly known as a member of the Irish bands Tír na nÓg (band), Tír na nÓg and Scullion (group), Scullion. He started a solo career from the mid-1970 – releasing his own albums while still playing, writing and recording with Tír na nÓg and Scullion over time. Newtownmountkennedy
Newtownmountkennedy () is a small town in County Wicklow, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It developed within the historic townland of Ballygarny () (now Mount Kennedy Demesne), although all that remains is a motte where a church, graveyard and a castle or tower house once stood just north of the town. It acquired its present name in the mid-seventeenth-century, when Sir Robert Kennedy, M.P. for Kildare Borough (Parliament of Ireland constituency), Kildare, made it his principal residence. It is just off the N11 road (Ireland), N11 road to Wexford, just south of Kilpedder and south-west of Greystones. It is about north of Wicklow, Wicklow town, south of Bray, County Wicklow, Bray and approximately from Dublin.
