Shane Michael Boose (born July 5, 2005), known professionally as Sombr, is an American singer, songwriter and producer. He released his debut single "Nothing Left to Say" in 2021 and his first extended play (EP), ''In Another Life'', in 2023, through Warner Records and his own imprint SMB. In 2025, " Back to Friends" and "Undressed" gained virality on the video-sharing app TikTok and became Sombr's breakout hits, leading to his first appearances on multiple record charts, including the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Early life Boose was born on July 5, 2005, in New York City, and raised on the Lower East Side. He attended LaGuardia High School as a vocal major but dropped out during his junior year after releasing the song "Caroline" in June 2022. He is currently based in Los Angeles, California. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. The Live Lounge is a segment on the British radio stations BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra. It was originally hosted by Simon Mayo, and later by Jo Whiley on her weekday mid-morning, and later weekend lunchtime radio shows, then by Fearne Cotton from 2009 until 2015, and then by Clara Amfo from May 2015 to August 2021.
