"Sobri (Notre Destin)" is the first single from French singer Leslie's album, ''Mes Couleurs''. The song was produced by Kore & Skalp, who produce tracks in the Raï style of music. The single was a great success in France and Belgium (Wallonia) where it almost topped the chart. As of August 2014, il was the 76th best-selling single of the 21st century in France, with 342,000 units sold. The song was covered by Amine in 2006 for his album '' Au delà des rêves'', on which it features as 13th in a remix club version. Raï (, ; ar, راي, Latn, ar, rāʾy, ), sometimes written rai, is a form of Algerian folk music that dates back to the 1920s. Singers of Raï are called ''cheb'' (Arabic: شاب) (or ''shabab,'' i.e. young) as opposed to ''sheikh'' (Arabic: شيخ) ('' shaykh'', i.e. old), the name given to Chaabi singers. Amine Mounder (born in Casablanca, Morocco) best known with his mononym Amine is a French-Moroccan R&B singer. He is known for his singular music style, Raï'n'B, which is a mix of R&B and Raï. Kore & Skalp are two DJs and producers who have worked together since 1997. Among others, they have made mixtapes, concerts and Scratch performances. And they have produced music for many underground groups, e.g. Eloquence, Costello and la Scred Connexion. Since 2001, Kore & Skalp have been at Sony Music France.
