LNER Class J17
The GER Class G58 ( LNER Class J17) is a class of 0-6-0 steam tender locomotives designed by James Holden for the Great Eastern Railway in England. The class consisted partly of new locomotives built from 1905 to 1911 and partly of rebuilds of the earlier GER Class F48 built from 1900 to 1903. The rebuilding started under GER auspices from 1921 and was continued by the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) after grouping in 1923. History The earlier GER Class F48 were built between 1900 and 1903 and had round-top boilers; there were sixty of them. The G58 had Belpaire fireboxes, like those fitted to the F48 No. 1189, and later fitted to the Class D56 ''Claud Hamilton'' 4-4-0s. A further thirty of the Belpaire boiler type followed to form Class G58. Superheating The class was superheated between 1915 and 1932. From 1921, all the round-top boilers were replaced by the Belpaire type and the majority were of the superheated type. Blastpipes At first Macallan blast ...

Small Nucleolar RNA SnR60/Z15/Z230/Z193/J17
In molecular biology, snoRNA snR60 is a non-coding RNA (ncRNA) molecule which functions in the modification of other small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs). This type of modifying RNA is usually located in the nucleolus of the eukaryotic cell which is a major site of snRNA biogenesis. It is known as a small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) and also often referred to as a guide RNA. snoRNA snR60 belongs to the C/D box class of snoRNAs which contain the conserved sequence motifs known as the C box (UGAUGA) and the D box (CUGA). Most of the members of the box C/D family function in directing site-specific 2'-O-methylation of substrate RNAs. snoRNA snR60 was initially discovered using a computational screen of the ''Saccharomyces cerevisiae ''Saccharomyces cerevisiae'' () (brewer's yeast or baker's yeast) is a species of yeast (single-celled fungal microorganisms). The species has been instrumental in winemaking, baking, and brewing since ancient times. It is believed to have be ...'' genome, subseq ...

GSR Class J17
The Great Southern Railways (GSR) 222/234 Classes 0-6-0 originated from 2 batches of 3 locomotives built for the Waterford, Limerick and Western Railway (WLWR) by Kitson with a contract payment dispute resulting in the final two members going to Midland Great Western Railway becoming MGWR Class W. Fleet History This class was a set of 2 batches of 3 locomotives for the WLWR designed by John G. Robinson. The lead member of the second batch, No. 2, was notable as the first Irish broad gauge locomotive to have a Belpaire firebox from new and the first to have the long slender chimney set to become synonymous with Robinson locomotives. The final two of the batch were held back on a payment dispute issue from the WLWR amalgamation into the GSWR in 1901 and opportunely purchased by the MGWR in the meanwhile. The locomotives were the first on the MGWR to have Belpaire firebox. Upon the 1901 amalgation the WLWR locomotives were renumbered 222, 237, 238 and 239 and retained those num ...

Gyroelongated Square Bipyramid
In geometry, the gyroelongated square bipyramid is a polyhedron with 16 triangular faces. it can be constructed from a square antiprism by attaching two equilateral square pyramid, equilateral square pyramids to each of its square faces. The same shape is also called hexakaidecadeltahedron, heccaidecadeltahedron, or tetrakis square antiprism; these last names mean a polyhedron with 16 triangular faces. It is an example of deltahedron, and of a Johnson solid. The dual polyhedron of the gyroelongated square bipyramid is a square truncated trapezohedron with eight pentagons and two squares as its faces. The gyroelongated square pyramid appears in chemistry as the basis for the bicapped square antiprismatic molecular geometry, and in mathematical optimization as a solution to the Thomson problem. Construction Like other Gyroelongated bipyramid, gyroelongated bipyramids, the gyroelongated square bipyramid can be constructed by attaching two Equilateral square pyramid, equilateral sq ...

Just Seventeen
''Just Seventeen'', often referred to as ''J-17'', was a fortnightly magazine aimed at teenage girls, published by Emap from October 1983 to April 2004. A special preview edition was given away free with sister magazine ''Smash Hits'' on 13 October 1983, with the first issue published the following week, on 20 October (thereby alternating weeks with ''Smash Hits''). ''Just Seventeen'' had become a weekly publication by early 1986. It quickly became the UK's market-leading teen-girl magazine until the launch of ''Sugar Sugar is the generic name for sweet-tasting, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. Simple sugars, also called monosaccharides, include glucose Glucose is a sugar with the Chemical formula#Molecular formula, molecul ...'' in 1994, after which sales began to fall. In 1997, the magazine was changed to a monthly format in response to declining circulation, and the magazine was finally closed in 2004, after losing a third of its reader ...
