Slukh — Ukrainian media about music and culture, founded in 2018. The site covers musical and cultural events in Ukraine and the world, tells about Ukrainian popular and little-known artists. The resource includes news, analytical texts, interviews, genre selections and thematic playlists. Also known for their own video content. The co-founder and editor-in-chief is Maksym Serdiuk. History The history of the project dates back to 2014, when Maxim Serdiuk, a sophomore at the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University, joined the team of masters who develop publications on music "Muzmapa". It was a media about Ukrainian niche music. Subsequently, the participants decided to continue to improve the project. Over time, more and more people began to learn about this resource, and the Muzmapa team gradually became the Slukh team. As a result, the Muzmapa project was frozen. Onuka (band)
ONUKA (literally: ''granddaughter'') is a Ukrainian electro-folk band. It was created in 2013 by Ukrainian musicians Yevhen Filatov and Nata Zhyzhchenko. Other group members are Daryna Sert (keyboardist and backing vocalist), Mariya Sorokina (percussionist) and Yevhen Yovenko (banduryst). The band's instrumentation includes electronic drums, trombones, French horns and Ukrainian folk instruments bandura and sopilka. History The Ukrainian word ''Onuka'' translates to "granddaughter," a tribute to lead singer Zhyzhchenko's grandfather and renowned folk-instrument maker, Oleksandr Shlionchyk. Zhyzhchenko started her music career as a member of the band Tomato Jaws, a band that she started with her brother. Tomato Jaws remained active for 11 years. Vivienne Mort is a Ukrainian indie rock band formed by Daniela Zaiushkina in 2007. History The first attempts to create the band were made in 2007, when singer/songwriter Daniela Zaiushkina composed her first songs. In 2008 they recorded the songs "Лети" and "День, коли святі...". The band spent 2009 looking for musicians as well as performing some concerts. Antonio Lukich
Antonio Lukić (Ukrainian: Антоніо Лукіч), known professionally as Antonio Lukich, is a Ukrainian filmmaker who was born in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. Throughout his career, Antonio has achieved much success, gaining awards at an international and nationally recognised level. Vladyslav Mykolaiovych Yama ( uk, Владисла́в Микола́йович Я́ма), also known as Vlad Yama ( uk, Влад Яма) (born July 10, 1982 in Zaporizhzhia), is a Ukrainian dancer, educator, and is one of three judges for Ukraine's Got Talent and Tantsi z zirkamy. DakhaBrakha
DakhaBrakha is a Ukrainian folk music quartet which combines the musical styles of several ethnic groups. It was a winner of the in 2009 and the Shevchenko National Prize in 2020. DakhaBrakha is a project of the Dakh Contemporary Arts Center, led by Vladyslav Troitskyi and born as a live theater music crew. Troitskyi continues to be the band's producer.
