Signe Byrge Sørensen
Signe Byrge Sørensen (; born 1970) is a Danish film producer. She is the head of and co-founder of the film production company Final Cut for Real in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sørensen and film director Joshua Oppenheimer were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for the 2013 film '' The Act of Killing''. She was also the producer to the critically acclaimed documentary ''The Look of Silence''. Signe Byrge Sørensen a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Danish Film Academy. In 2022, she produced the animated documentary film '' Flee'' and was nominated in Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and Best Animated Feature categories. Telluride Film Festival
The Telluride Film Festival (TFF) is a film festival held annually in Telluride, Colorado, during Labor Day, Labor Day weekend (the first Monday in September). The 51st Telluride Film Festival, 51st edition took place on August 30–September 2, 2024. ''Pervert Park'' is a 2014 documentary film directed by Swedish-Danish filmmaking couple Frida and Lasse Barkfors. The film's focus is Palace Mobile Park in St. Petersburg, Florida, nicknamed "Pervert Park", which houses over 100 convicted sex offenders. The film premiered at Copenhagen International Documentary Festival. It won the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Impact at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. It had a television premiere as an episode of ''POV'' on July 11, 2016. Production The Barkfors read an article about Florida Justice Transitions in a Danish newspaper which provoked their interest in the park, which they got the impression was "a society of its own". The 71st annual Venice International Film Festival , was held from 27 August to 6 September 2014, at Venice Lido in Italy.
