Shiro (kickboxer)
, better known by his ring name Shiro, is a Japanese people, Japanese Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer. He currently competes in the bantamweight division of RISE (kickboxing), RISE, where he is the inaugural and current RISE (kickboxing)#Super Lightweight World championship, RISE Bantamweight World champion. Shiro is the 2020 RISE DoA Bantamweight tournament winner, the 2021 RISE DoA Super Flyweight tournament runner-up and the 2019 RISE World Series tournament runner-up. As a muay thai fighter, he held the Rangsit Stadium International Bantamweight championship and the ISKA (sports governing body), ISKA Muay Thai World Bantamweight championship. As of August 2023, he is ranked as the best flyweight (-56.7kg) kickboxer in the world by Combat Press and the best super flyweight (-55kg) kickboxer by Beyond Kick. Knock Out (kickboxing)
Knock Out (stylized as KNOCK OUT) is a Japanese martial arts promotion and brand established in 2016 by the Bushido Road subsidiary Kixroad. It is currently run by Def Fellow. In 2019, the promotion established two different rulesets. The Knock Out-Red ruleset allowed elbow strikes, sweeps and throws. The Knock Out-Black ruleset followed the traditional K-1 ruleset, which allowed kicks and strikes with fists or knees, while extended clinching, elbow strikes and throws of any kind were prohibited. 2020 Kyushu Floods
The 2020 Kyushu floods were a series of floods in July 2020 brought on when record-breaking heavy rain hit the prefectures of Kumamoto and Kagoshima, on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu, on 4 July 2020 in the middle of the East Asian rainy season. The event is officially referred to as by the Japan Meteorological Agency. As a result of flooding and landslides, 77 people were confirmed dead (includes 1 death due to cardiopulmonary arrest) and approximately seven are missing. Shoot Boxing
