''Shero'' is the tenth studio album by Taiwanese girl group S.H.E. It was released on March 26, 2010, by HIM International Music in two editions: ''Shero (Gorgeous Edition)'' with a bonus DVD of nine music videos from 2008 to 2009 and ''Shero (Avant-garde Edition)'' with a bonus DVD of S.H.E’s ''FM S.H.E'' Taipei Concert. Songs The album features 10 new tracks. The title track, "Shero" is written by Mayday's Ashin and 831 vocalist, Up Lee. The song encourages females to just be their own 'Shero' if they can't find their 'Hero'. It was also the theme song for 2010 Taipei International Flower Expo. The track "Love So Right" (愛就對了) is a cover of Kate Voegele's "Angel". Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; later influences came from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the campus folk song folk movement of the 1970s. "Mandopop" may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after " Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. "Mandopop" was used to describe Mandarin-language popular songs of that time, some of which were versions of Cantopop songs sung by the same singers with different lyrics to suit the different rhyme and tonal patterns of Mandarin. G-Music Limited is a company built in 2002 by Rose Records and Tachung Records, both are the largest local music retails and wholesale chains in Taiwan. The physical retail arms have been kept separate, for different customer bases and brand identity, but the e-retailing, wholesale and distributor business is unified as Rose Tachung Records. The two chains originally teamed up to create Taiwan's popular music ranking, the G-Music Chart (Chinese: 風雲榜 ''fēngyúnbǎng''). The chains had around 60 locations in 2002. Wayne Lim Junjie (; born 27 March 1981), professionally known as JJ Lin, is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and businessman. JerryC (; born 31 August 1981), also known by his English name Jerry Chang, is a Taiwanese guitarist and composer. He is known for arranging and playing "Canon Rock", a rock arrangement of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D. He began playing the guitar at the age of 17, and the piano before age 15. Teng Yu-hsien
Teng Yu-hsien (, Hakka: Then Yí-hièn; 21 July 1906 – 11 June 1944) was a Taiwanese Hakka musician. He is noted for composing many well-known Hokkien songs. Teng gave himself a Japanese-style pen-name as Karasaki Yau and a formal name called Higashida Gyōu . Teng is regarded as the Father of Taiwanese folk songs. Chiu Thiam-ōng
Chiu Thiam-ōng (Mandarin: 周添旺, January 25, 1911 – 1988) was a Taiwanese pop music lyricist during the Japanese rule period, born in Monga Bopiliao (present-day Wanhua), Taipei City, and registered on December 25, 1910 on the lunar calendar. The Last Day of Summer 831 (), is a Taiwanese band that debuted in 2007 with five members, ADian, Xiao Ju, Liu Bi, A Pu, Ba Tian. History Five high school students started 831 on August 31, 2003.
