Shane Martin (born December 31, 1971) is an American politician serving as the member of the South Carolina Senate, where he has represented Spartanburg's 13th District since 2008. He is a member of the Republican Party. S.C. Senate Martin has represented South Carolina's 13th Senate District since he defeated incumbent Republican James H. Ritchie Jr. in the Republican primaries in 2008. The 2020 South Carolina State Senate elections took place as part of the biennial 2020 United States elections. South Carolina voters elected state senators in all of the state's 46 senate districts.
