Minecraft
''Minecraft'' is a sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios. The game was created by Markus "Notch" Persson in the Java programming language. Following several early private testing versions, it was first made public in May 2009 before being fully released in November 2011, with Notch stepping down and Jens "Jeb" Bergensten taking over development. ''Minecraft'' is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 238 million copies sold and nearly 140 million monthly active players , and has been ported to several platforms. In ''Minecraft'', players explore a blocky, procedurally generated 3D world with virtually infinite terrain and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures, earthworks, and simple machines. Depending on their chosen game mode, players can fight hostile mobs, as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode (in which players must acquire resou ...

Minecraft Mods
A ''Minecraft'' mod is an independent, user-made modification to the Mojang video game ''Minecraft''. Tens of thousands of these mods exist,Cadenhead 2014, p. 367 and users can download them from the internet, commonly for free. Utilizing additional software, several mods are typically able to be used at the same time in order to enhance gameplay.Van Schaik and Vledder 2015, p. 107 ''Minecraft'' mods are available for computer and mobile versions of the game, but legacy console versions cannot be modded with practical methods. Feasibility ''Minecraft'' is a video game particularly known for its adaptability for modifications. Over the course of the years, many independent programmers have made use of that in order to create additional content for the game, known as "mods". The ''Java Edition'' of ''Minecraft'' (available for Windows, macOS, and Linux) can be modded through the client or server. Flappy Bird
''Flappy Bird'' is a mobile game developed by the Vietnamese video game artist and programmer Dong Nguyen ( vi, Nguyễn Hà Đông), under his game development company .Gears. The game is a side-scroller where the player controls a bird, attempting to fly between columns of green pipes without hitting them. Nguyen created the game over the period of several days, using a bird protagonist that he had designed for a cancelled game in 2012. The game was released in May 2013 but received a sudden spike in popularity in early 2014 and became a sleeper hit. ''Flappy Bird'' received poor reviews from some critics, who criticized its high level of difficulty and alleged plagiarism in graphics and game mechanics, while other reviewers found it addictive. At the end of January 2014, it was the most downloaded free game in the App Store for iOS. Arbitrary Code Execution
In computer security, arbitrary code execution (ACE) is an attacker's ability to run any commands or code of the attacker's choice on a target machine or in a target process. An arbitrary code execution vulnerability is a security flaw in software or hardware allowing arbitrary code execution. A program that is designed to exploit such a vulnerability is called an arbitrary code execution exploit. The ability to trigger arbitrary code execution over a network (especially via a wide-area network such as the Internet) is often referred to as remote code execution (RCE). Vulnerability types There are a number of classes of vulnerability that can lead to an attacker's ability to execute arbitrary commands or code. For example: * Memory safety vulnerabilities such as buffer overflows or over-reads. * Deserialization vulnerabilities * Type confusion vulnerabilities * GNU LDD arbitrary code execution Methods Arbitrary code execution is commonly achieved through control over the ...

Glitching
Glitching is an activity in which a person finds and exploits flaws or glitches in video games to achieve something that was not intended by the game designers. Players who engage in this practice are known as glitchers. Some glitches can be easily achieved, while others are either very difficult or unperformable by humans and can only be achieved with tool-assisted input. Glitches can vary greatly in the level of game manipulation, from setting a flag to writing and executing custom code from within the game. Glitches may be found by accident or actively searched for. They require testing and experimentation by the player to be repeatable with some level of success. They can be achieved in many different ways, most often through user input from a game controller, but can also be assisted through hardware manipulation. The mechanics of some glitches are well-understood, due to having access to the game's code or knowing the properties being manipulated, while others are perfor ...
