Sava Sekulić
Sava Sekulić ( sr-Cyrl, Сава Секулић; 17February 190226January 1989) was a Serbian Naïve and Outsider art painter. Biography He was born in Bilišani in Dalmatinska Zagora near Obrovac, as a Serb in the Kingdom of Dalmatia, in 1902. His mother remarried when his father died when he was 10 years old. Sekulić was raised by his uncle and his aunt. He never attended any schools. His father taught him to read and write. Also, Sekulić used to quote his father's last words: ''Learn by yourself, draw and write with a stone in your hand''. During World War I, he was harmed and lost one eye when he was 15 years old. He started writing poems when he was 22 and painting in 1932, but he did not dedicate himself to painting exclusively. In 1943, during the World War II he began to work as a builder. Isidora Sekulić
Isidora Sekulić ( sr-cyr, Исидора Секулић, 16 February 1877 – 5 April 1958) was a Serbian writer, novelist, essayist, polyglot and art critic. She was "the first woman academic in the history of Serbia". Biography Sekulić was born in Mošorin, a village of Bács-Bodrog County, (now Serbia). Apart from her studies in literature, Sekulić was also well versed in natural sciences as well as philosophy. She graduated from the pedagogical school in Budapest in 1892, and obtained her doctorate in 1922 in Germany. Her travels included extended stays in England, France and Norway. Her travels from Oslo through Bergen to Finnmark resulted in ''Pisma iz Norveške / Letters from Norway'' meditative travelogue in 1914. Her collection of short stories, ''Saputnici,'' are unusually detailed and penetrating accomplishment in self-analysis and a brave stylistic experiment. Martin Sekulić
Martin Sekulić (1833–1905) was a mathematics and physics teacher from Karlovac, one of the few high-school professors who were members of the Croatian community of physicists at the time. Biography Martin Sekulić was born in Lovinac. He taught at the Higher Real School in Rakovac (today Karlovac). Gordana "Goga" Sekulić ( sr-cyr, Гордана "Гога" Секулић; born 27 February 1977) is a Montenegrin-born Serbian singer. Boris Sekulić ( sr-Cyrl, Борис Секулић; born 21 October 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Polish club Górnik Zabrze. The Croats (; hr, Hrvati ) are a South Slavic ethnic group who share a common Croatian ancestry, culture, history and language.
