Second Glavchev Government
The Second Glavchev Government was the 104th cabinet of Bulgaria. It was appointed by President Rumen Radev on 27 August 2024, and sworn in the same day at the National Assembly of Bulgaria. 17 out of 20 ministers were reappointed and continued their job as ministers in the same portfolios held in the preceding First Glavchev Government, with new appointments only made for the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Bulgaria), Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior (Bulgaria), Minister of Interior and Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (Bulgaria), Minister of Transport and Communications. Its tenure ended following the election of the Zhelyazkov government by the National Assembly on the 16th of January, 2025. Rumen Georgiev Radev (, born 18 June 1963) is a Bulgarian politician and former major general who has been the President of Bulgaria since 2017. Radev previously served as higher commander of the Bulgarian Air Force. He won the 2016 Bulgarian presidential election, 2016 presidential election as an Independent politician, independent candidate supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party, defeating GERB candidate Tsetska Tsacheva in the second round. Georgi Nikolov Glouchkov (alternate spelling: Gueorgui) (; born January 10, 1960) is a Bulgarian former professional basketball player and president of Bulgarian Basketball Federation. A 6 ft 8 in (204 cm) forward, he was the first player from an Eastern bloc country to compete in the American National Basketball Association (NBA). Glouchkov has served as Bulgaria's Minister of Youth and Sports under Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev since April 9, 2024. Nayden Vladislovov Todorov ( Bulgarian: Найден Владиславов Тодоров; born 8 April 1974) is a Bulgarian conductor and the Minister of Culture of Bulgaria. Biography Todorov was born on 8 April 1974 in Plovdiv. In 1993 he graduated from the Dobrin Petkov National School of Music in Plovdiv in the piano class of Darina Kantardzhieva and trumpet class of Lilia Kovacheva-Toporcheva.
