Sarpam
''Sarpam'' is a 1979 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by Baby and produced by Dhanya. The film stars Vidhubala, Prem Nazir, Jayan, Jagathy Sreekumar and Kaviyoor Ponnamma. The film has musical score by K. J. Joy. Plot Ramesh is married to a traditional woman Latha who esteems snakes very much. Ramesh's friend James is courting a firebrand, Daisy and tries to impress her with his bravery and derring-do. But she's disgusted by his arrogance and inclination to pick fights. Their fights come to point when Daisy's pet python breaks James's hand as he harasses her. Daisy's father -a scientist experimenting with snake venom- is delighted with James's courtship of his daughter.He advises both of them. A sheepish James is told to behave like a human being and not like an animal. Daisy's father apprises her of James's loveless family background and tasks her with treating him kindly. James apologizes to Daisy and she decides to forgive him after observing his conduct for a while ...

Seema (actress)
Shanthakumari Nambiar, known by her stage name Seema, is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam cinema. Actor Vijayan gave her the screen name "Seema". Career Seema began her career in Tamil film at the age of 18 as a dancer. She debuted as an actress in director Lisa Baby's ''Nizhale Nee Sakshi'', but this film was shelved. (It was later completed with Vidhubala as heroine.) Veteran actor Vijayan rechristened her name as Seema during the filming of ''Nizhale Nee Sakshi''. Jose Prakash
Kunnel Joseph Joseph, better known by his stage name, Jose Prakash (14 April 1925 – 24 March 2012) was an Indian actor and singer who worked in Malayalam cinema. He was a singer turned actor who had appeared in more than 300 films mostly in antagonist roles. He was awarded with the J. C. Daniel Award in 2011, a day before he died aged 86. Kaviyoor Ponnamma
Kaviyoor Ponnamma (10 September 1945 – 20 September 2024) was an Indian actress who appeared in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She also acted in TV serials and commercials and had playback singing credits in few films. Ponnamma was a four-time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner. Her sister Kaviyoor Renuka was also an actress. Often called as the "mother to all actors", she acted as mother of almost all actors in her career spanning over decades. Krishnan Madhavan Nair (25 July 1939 – 16 November 1980), better known by his stage name Jayan, born as the son of Madhavan Pillai (Kerala title), Pillai and Bharathiyamma in Kollam district, Kollam, was an Indian actor, Officer (armed forces), naval officer, and stunt performer of the 1970s and 1980s. Vidhubala (born 24 May 1952) is an Indian actress started her career in the mid-1960s and retired from the industry in 1981. Jagathy Sreekumar
Sreekumar Achary (born 5 January 1951), better known by his stage name Jagathy Sreekumar or simply Jagathy, is an Indian actor, director and playback singer, who has appeared in over 1500 Malayalam films in a career spanning almost four decades. Ravikumar Menon (1 March 1954 – 4 April 2025) was an Indian actor in Malayalam and Tamil feature films and serials. He acted in more than 100 south Indian films. He played lead roles during the early and late 1970s. He came to the Malayalam film industry through his debut movie '' Ullasa Yaathra'' (1975).
