Sarek
Sarek is a fictional character in the ''Star Trek'' media franchise. He is a Vulcan astrophysicist, the Vulcan ambassador to the United Federation of Planets, and father of Spock. The character was originally played by Mark Lenard in the episode "Journey to Babel" in 1967. Lenard later voiced Sarek in the animated series, and appeared in Star Trek films and the series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation''. Actor Jonathan Simpson played a younger Sarek in a brief scene in '' Star Trek V: The Final Frontier'', with voice-over provided by Lenard. Ben Cross portrayed Sarek in the 2009 ''Star Trek'' film. James Frain plays Sarek in the television series '' Star Trek: Discovery''. Mark Lenard
Mark Lenard (born Leonard Rosenson, October 15, 1924 – November 22, 1996) was an American actor, primarily in television. His most famous role was that of Sarek, father of Spock, in the science fiction ''Star Trek'' franchise, both in '' Star Trek: The Original Series'' and the animated series, in three films, and in two episodes of '' Star Trek: The Next Generation''. He also played a Klingon in '' Star Trek The Motion Picture'', and a Romulan Commander in the episode Balance of Terror of the original series. Biography Lenard was born in Chicago, the son of a Russian Jewish immigrant, Abraham, and his wife, Bessie, and was raised in the small town of South Haven, Michigan, on Lake Michigan, where his family owned a tourist resort. Journey To Babel
"Journey to Babel" is the tenth episode of the second season of the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek''. Written by D. C. Fontana and directed by Joseph Pevney, it was first broadcast on November 17, 1967. In the episode, '' Enterprise'' is tasked with transporting dignitaries to a diplomatic conference. The episode features the first appearance of Sarek ( Mark Lenard) and Amanda ( Jane Wyatt), the parents of Spock, and also introduces two new species, the Andorians and the Tellarites. Plot ''Enterprise'', under the command of Captain Kirk, is transporting Federation ambassadors to a conference on the planet Babel to discuss the admission of the Coridan system into the Federation. Michael Burnham
Michael Burnham is the protagonist of '' Star Trek: Discovery'', portrayed by American actress Sonequa Martin-Green. She originally appears as the First Officer of USS ''Shenzhou'' under Philippa Georgiou (Michelle Yeoh) until she commits mutiny, for which she is stripped of rank and sent to prison for life. Burnham is later recruited by Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs) on as a science specialist after serving only six months of her sentence, with Lorca viewing Burnham as an asset in the war against the Klingons. Vulcans, sometimes referred to as Vulcanians, are a fictional extraterrestrial humanoid species in the ''Star Trek'' media franchise. They are noted for their strict adherence to logic and reason and suppression of emotion. Known for their pronounced eyebrows and pointed ears, they originate from the fictional planet Vulcan. Ben Cross
Harry Bernard Cross (16 December 1947 – 18 August 2020) was an English actor. He was best known for his portrayal of the British Olympic athlete Harold Abrahams in the 1981 film ''Chariots of Fire'' and for playing Billy Flynn in the original West End production of the musical ''Chicago''.
