Sarah Nnodim
Sarah Nnodim (born 25 December 1995) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigerian Women's Championship. She plays internationally for the Nigeria women's national football team, having previously been a member of the Nigeria women's national under-20 football team which reached the final of the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Career Club At club level, she plays for Nasarawa Amazons in the Nigerian Women's Championship. International Nnodim has represented Nigeria at all levels, having played the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in 2010 and 2012 as well as the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. At that final tournament, she was part of the team that reached the final but lost against Germany. She was promoted to the senior squad following that tournament, when she was named in a 33-woman squad list for the 2014 African Women's Championship as one of four "Falconets" players who transitioned to the "Super Falcons". 2014 African Women's Championship
The 2014 African Women's Championship, the 11th edition of the tournament, was held in Namibia. This tournament, organized by the Confederation of African Football, was also a qualification tournament for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, with top three qualifying for the finals in Canada. It was played on 11–25 October 2014. The tournament marked the first participation of Namibia in the African championship. Also for the first time the defending champions, Equatorial Guinea, were not taking part after failing to win their last qualifying round match. Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2–0 in the final to win their ninth title. Host Namibia were awarded the hosting rights in October 2011. It is the first time they will appear in the final tournament. Sydney Rae Leroux (; born May 7, 1990) is a professional soccer player and Olympic gold medalist who currently plays as a forward for Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. Edwin Okon
Edwin Edem Okon (born 19 October 1970) is the head coach of Rivers Angels. Born in Cross River State, Okon got a coaching certificate from the sport institute in Lagos State. Following the failure of Nigeria to win the 2012 African Women's Championship, and the subsequent resignation of coach Kadiri Ikhana, Okon was appointed interim head coach of the Super Falcons in 2013. The 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup was the third edition of the women's football tournament, and was held in Azerbaijan from 22 September to 13 October, following a decision by the executive committee on 19 March 2010.
