Austrian Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Austrian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing season from 1971 to 1997, and then again from 2016 onwards. The event is due to take place at the Red Bull Ring until at least 2025. History The inaugural Austrian grand prix was held in 1971 at the Salzburgring, where it stayed until 1994. In 1995, the Austrian GP was taken off the calendar because the Salzburgring was deemed too dangerous for racing., but would return in 1996 on the then-called Österreichring. In 1997, the Österreichring became the A1-Ring, named after the Austrian mobile network operator A1. For the 1998 season, the Austrian round was scrapped, mainly due to the low number of spectators who visited the races. After a 19-year absence, the Austrian Grand Prix returned in 2016 and currently takes place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The layout was changed, and a chicane was added before the 2022 race. Vittorio Brambilla
Vittorio Brambilla (; 11 November 1937 – 26 May 2001) was an Italian racing driver, who competed in Formula One from to . Nicknamed "the Monza Gorilla", Brambilla won the 1975 Austrian Grand Prix with March. Born and raised in Monza, Brambilla competed in Formula One for March, Surtees and Alfa Romeo. A wet weather specialist, Brambilla won the curtailed in with a 27-second margin over James Hunt in only 29 laps. Career Born in the town of Monza itself, Brambilla began racing motorcycles in 1957 and won the Italian national 175cc title in 1958. The 2015 Remus F3 Cup was the 34th Austria Formula 3 Cup season and the third Remus F3 Cup season. Jordi Weckx of Rennsport Rössler was crowned champion by one point over Performance Racing driver Akash Nandy, who missed the last round. Alfa Romeo Tipo 33
The Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 was a sports racing prototype raced by the Alfa Romeo factory-backed team between 1967 and 1977. These cars took part for Sport Cars World Championship, Nordic Challenge Cup, Interserie and CanAm series. A small number of road going cars were derived from it in 1967, called Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. With the 33TT12 Alfa Romeo won the 1975 World Championship for Makes, and with the 33SC12 the 1977 World Championship for Sports Cars, taking the first place in all eight of the championship races. Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Alfa Romeo started development of the Tipo 33 in the early 1960s, with the first car being built in 1965. ADAC GT Masters
The ADAC GT Masters is a grand tourer-based auto racing series founded by the international Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) and supported by the German ADAC automotive club. Similar to an earlier ADAC GT Cup series in the 1990s, the new GT Masters ran their first season in 2007. Although the series is based in Germany, select events are run elsewhere in Europe. The TCR Europe Touring Car Series is an annual touring car racing event that is held at various locations across Europe.
