SRSQ Albums
SRSQ (pronounced "seer-skew") is the solo musical project of American singer and keyboardist Kennedy Ashlyn. Ashlyn started making music under the name Them Are Us Too in high school, later expanding the group to a duo after meeting Cash Askew in college. After releasing one album together, Askew died in the Ghost Ship warehouse fire in 2016. Ashlyn retired their shared name and started working as SRSQ the following year. Under the name, Ashlyn has released two albums, ''Unreality'' (2018) and ''Ever Crashing'' (2022). SRSQ's dream pop-centric sound has drawn comparisons to bands such as Cocteau Twins. Northwestern Pacific Railroad
The Northwestern Pacific Railroad is a regional shortline railroad utilizing a stretch of the 271 mile mainline between Schellville and Windsor with freight and Sonoma–Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) commuter trains. Formerly, it was a regional railroad primarily used for logging that served the entire North Coast of California, with a main line running from Schellville to Eureka, along with an additional portion of the line running from the Ignacio Wye to the edge of San Rafael. The "Southern End" of the line, including Schellville to Willits and from Ignacio to San Rafael is owned by SMART, while the "Northern End" was formally owned and managed by the now-dissolved North Coast Railroad Authority but is now saved for use in California's 2018 Great Redwood Trail Act, which repurposes the unused railroad right-of-way from Eureka to Willits for future use as the Great Redwood Trail. The Sisters Of Mercy
The Sisters of Mercy is an English rock music, rock band, formed in 1980 in Leeds. After achieving early underground fame there, the band had their commercial breakthrough in the mid-1980s and sustained it until the early 1990s, when they stopped releasing new recorded output in protest against their record company Warner Music Group, WEA. Currently, the band are a touring outfit only. The group has released three original studio albums: ''First and Last and Always'' (1985), ''Floodland (album), Floodland'' (1987), and ''Vision Thing (album), Vision Thing'' (1990). Samantha Urbani ( ; born September 18, 1987) is an American singer, songwriter, visual artist, filmmaker and producer from Mystic, Connecticut. She formed Friends; after three years, a trio of singles, and the album '' Manifest!'' on Fat Possum records the group disbanded. Urbani went on to collaborate and tour with Dev Hynes for several years before embarking on a solo career. The Body is an American experimental metal duo that was formed in 1999 in Providence, Rhode Island by guitarist/vocalist Chip King and drummer/programmer Lee Buford. As of 2022, they have released seven solo full length albums as well as fifteen collaborative LPs, nine EP's, four splits, two compilations, two singles, and one collaborative live album. Uniform (band)
Uniform is an American industrial metal band, formed in 2013 in New York by vocalist Michael Berdan and guitarist Ben Greenberg. The current line-up of the band features Mike Sharp on drums. History Greenberg previously played with The Men and Pygmy Shrews whereas Berdan sang for Drunkdriver and York Factory Complaint. The band came together after Greenberg and Berdan, who played in bands 3 years prior, started living on the same street. The duo recorded their eponymous 12" single, which was released in 2014. "Sweetness" is a song by American rock band Jimmy Eat World. It was released in June 2002 as the third single from their 2001 album, ''Bleed American''. It was originally written soon after the band finished recording ''Clarity'' but before the label had finally decided to release the album. However, "Lucky Denver Mint" became a surprise radio hit off of ''Clarity'' before the album was even released, driving the label to release ''Clarity'' before "Sweetness" could ever be added to its tracklisting. The band also played the song live many times during the ''Clarity'' tour, and a demo recording of it was included on the 2007 re-issue of ''Clarity''.
