SETE Linhas Aéreas Ltda. (Serviços Especiais de Transportes Executivos) was a domestic airline based in Goiânia, Brazil founded in 1999. The company operated in several cities located in the brazilian states of Goiás, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, Pará and Amapá, and also in the Federal District (Brasília) but since January 1, 2016 it is grounded for restructuring. According to the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC), between January and December 2015 Sete had 0.1% of the domestic market share in terms of passengers per kilometer flown. History SETE traces its origins to 1976, when Rolim Adolfo Amaro, also founder of TAM Airlines, created an airline specialized in general aviation and maintenance. Captain Rolim Adolfo Amaro (September 15, 1942 - July 8, 2001), known as "Comandante Rolim," was a Brazilian pilot and airline owner and founder of TAM Airlines. Biography At age 21, he became a pilot for a new air taxi company known as TAM – Táxi Aéreo Marília. The company began its operation in 1961 with the alliance of 10 young pilots. At the time, they transported cargo and charter passengers between Paraná, São Paulo, and Mato Grosso. After six years in the company, Amaro left Taxi Aéreo Marília. At the same time, it was sold to businessman Orlando Ometto, its headquarters moved to São Paulo, and the company profile changed when it became a courier company. Carajás Airport is the airport serving Parauapebas, Brazil, located in the Carajás Mining Complex. It is operated by AENA. Parauapebas is a municipality in the state of Pará in the Northern region of Brazil.
