Rust
Rust is an iron oxide, a usually reddish-brown oxide formed by the reaction of iron and oxygen in the catalytic presence of water or air moisture. Rust consists of hydrous iron(III) oxides (Fe2O3·nH2O) and iron(III) oxide-hydroxide (FeO(OH), Fe(OH)3), and is typically associated with the corrosion of refined iron. Given sufficient time, any iron mass, in the presence of water and oxygen, could eventually convert entirely to rust. Surface rust is commonly flaky and friable, and provides no passivational protection to the underlying iron, unlike the formation of patina on copper surfaces. ''Rusting'' is the common term for corrosion of elemental iron and its alloys such as steel. Many other metals undergo similar corrosion, but the resulting oxides are not commonly called "rust". Rusty Frank
Rusty Frank is an American tap dancer, producer, writer, choreographer, lindy hopper, historian and tap-dance preservationist. Early life Rusty Frank was born in Hollywood, California, and raised in Los Angeles. She began dancing at age six, inspired as a child by watching classic American films of the 1930s and '40s, especially those of Shirley Temple. Frank attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she majored in environmental planning and public policy and graduated with double honors. She then attended the University of San Francisco, where she received her master's degree in public administration. Russell Keith "Rusty" Hopkinson is an Australian rock musician and record label owner. He joined alternative rockers, You Am I, in 1993 on drums, percussion and backing vocals. He had previously been a member of the Bamboos (1986–87) and Kryptonics (1987–88). He established a record label, Reverberation, in 2003 with his former Kryptonics bandmate, Ian Underwood. Rusty Hilger
Russell Todd Hilger (May 9, 1962 – December 24, 2019) was an American professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played eight seasons for the Los Angeles Raiders, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks. Oklahoma State University Hilger played college football at Oklahoma State University, and is regarded as one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in Oklahoma State history. As a Sophomore in 1981, Hilger guided the Cowboys to its first post-season bowl since 1976 against Texas A&M in the Independence bowl. In 1982, Hilger suffered a shoulder injury prior to the start of season earning him a redshirt as the Cowboys fell to a 4-5-2 record. Rusty Higgins is an American music master, saxophonist, arranger, composer, and session musician. As a member of the Bob Florence Limited Edition, Higgins won the Grammy Award in 2000 for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album for '' Serendipity 18''. Russell Wade "Rusty" Harrison (born 11 October 1981 in Elizabeth, South Australia) is an Australian speedway rider. Career summary Harrison won the Australian Under-16 Championship in 1995 in Perth and again in 1997 at his home track in Adelaide (Sidewinders Speedway), before going on to be the Australian Under-21 Champion in 2001, winning again at home in Adelaide, this time at the Gillman Speedway. Russell "Rusty" Hardin, Jr. (born October 6, 1941) is an American attorney and head of the Houston law firm Rusty Hardin & Associates, P.C. which he established in 1996. Early life Hardin attended a private military academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee called Baylor School (now a coed, independent day and boarding school). He graduated in 1960 and was influenced by one of his teachers at Baylor, Stan Lewis, to attend Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
