''Rumpelstiltskin'' is a 1995 American fantasy horror comedy film directed by Mark Jones and starring Max Grodénchik as the title character. Plot In the 15th century, Rumpelstiltskin is imprisoned inside a small jade figurine. In modern-day Los Angeles, the recently widowed wife of a police officer, with baby in tow, finds her way into a witch's shop and purchases a certain figurine, resulting in the cackling beast being freed and demanding possession of the baby. Mark Robert Jones (born January 17, 1953) is an American screenwriter, film director, television director, film producer, and television producer. He wrote and directed '' Leprechaun'' (1993), about the fairy tale character, beginning the horror franchise of the same name, which includes eight films in total. Jay Harris Pickett (February 10, 1961 – July 30, 2021) was an American actor. Early life and education Pickett was born in Spokane, Washington, and grew up in Caldwell, Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in acting at Boise State University and his Master of Fine Arts in acting from the University of California, Los Angeles and appeared in numerous theatrical productions at both schools. The JoBlo Movie Network includes a website, JoBlo.com, which focuses on news, film reviews, and movie trailers; and YouTube channels that focus on trailers, movie clips, celebrity interviews, original content, and as film distribution. Early days Berge Garabedian ( aka JoBlo) founded JoBlo.com in 1998 as a hobby to keep his writing skills sharp. Elmarie Louise Wendel (November 23, 1928 – c. July 21, 2018) was an American actress and singer best known as Mamie Dubcek on the NBC sitcom ''3rd Rock from the Sun''.
