Rosie Rowell
Rosie Rowell (born 29 April 1965) is a British actress, probably best known for her roles as Eileen Callan in ''Family Affairs'' (a role she played from 2002 until the series ended in 2005) and Donna Tucker in ''Soldier Soldier''. She has also had parts in several other well-known British TV series, including ''The Bill'', '' Casualty'' and '' Where the Heart Is'', as well as providing voice-over for documentaries and television commercials. Early life Rowell grew up in Byker, a tough area of Newcastle. She attended Heaton Manor School. Her parents split up when she was young and at 16 she ran away to London, living in squats while attending the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. ''Gabriel and Me'' is a 2001 film starring Iain Glen, Sean Landless and Billy Connolly as the angel Gabriel. It originated from the 1995 British play ''I Luv You Jimmy Spud''. Some outdoor scenes were filmed in North East England including the Roker pier in Sunderland. The film premiered at the 2001 Edinburgh International Film Festival. Plot Jimmy Spud is a young loner living in the Byker Wall. Ever since his father threw him high in the air from South Shields pier, he dreamt of being able to fly, and specifically of being an angel. ''Undercover Mosque'' is a documentary programme produced by the British independent television company Hardcash Productions for the Channel 4 series '' Dispatches'' that was first broadcast on 15 January 2007 in the UK. The documentary presents video footage gathered from 12 months of secret investigation into mosques throughout Britain. Jesmond Park Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The school was formerly known as Heaton Manor School. Byker
Byker is a district in the east of the city and metropolitan borough of Newcastle upon Tyne. Home to the Byker Wall estate, made famous by TV series '' Byker Grove'', Byker’s population was recorded at 12,206 in the 2011 census. Rob Spendlove (born 1 May 1953 in London) is a British actor best known for his roles on British television. He studied drama at Middlesex Polytechnic, worked as a teacher and toured schools with a fringe theatre company. He has appeared in many television soaps and dramas.
