Ronaldas Rutkauskas
Ronaldas Rutkauskas (born 3 March 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. Born in Kaunas, he started his professional career in Sweden with 08 Stockholm. Rutkauskas received the BBL Best Rebounder Award in 2015 while playing for Pärnu and was the leading scorer of the Belarus Premier League in 2012. Rutkauskas has represented Lithuania at junior levels. Professional career Born in Kaunas in 1992, Rutkauskas started playing basketball at a very young age in the basketball academies of Arvydas Sabonis. His professional started career in 2009 with Swedish team 08 Stockholm, before joining Belarusian team Tsmoki-Minsk in 2011. Rutkauskas while playing for Tsmoki-Minsk II in the Belarus Premier League, led the league in scoring for the 2011–12 season with 19.6 points and had the second-best record with 9.4 rebounds per game in 30 games, also setting the season-high for scoring in a game as he scored 38 points against Rubon Vitebsk. 2015–16 Baltic Basketball League
The 2015–16 Triobet Baltic Basketball League was the 12th season of the Baltic Basketball League and the first under the title sponsorship of Triobet. Overview This season’s competition included 6 teams from Estonia, 5 teams from Latvia and Lithuania and one team from Kazakhstan, which played all its games away. For the regular season the teams were divided into two groups of seven teams and competed in a round-robin competition system, with team facing each of their opponents twice. The Cypriot Basketball Division A is currently the top-tier level men's professional basketball competition of the Cypriot basketball league system. It is run and governed by the Cyprus Basketball Federation. Format At present, six clubs compete in the league. Since the 2016–17 season, the six teams play each other four times during the regular season, with the top 4 teams reaching the play-off semi-finals stage. One team (the last one) at the end of the season is relegated to the second division, whilst one team from the second division is promoted. The play-off semi-finals and the championship winner will be decided after three wins.
