Rona Fairhead, Baroness Fairhead
Rona Alison Fairhead, Baroness Fairhead (''Name at birth, née'' Haig; born 28 August 1961) is a Conservative life peer and businesswoman. She served as Minister of State at the Department for International Trade from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, she was the last Chairman of the BBC Trust before its abolition and the first woman to hold the post. On 3 September 2017, it was announced that Trade Policy Minister Mark Price, Baron Price, Lord Price would leave the government; on 28 September, Fairhead was appointed to succeed him.
