Rodney Martin (squash Player)
Rodney Martin (born 17 October 1965) is an Australian former professional squash player, who is best known for winning the 1991 World Open and becoming the first player to defeat Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan in the same event. After retiring as a player due to injury, he became a squash coach, working in Australia and the United States. Biography Martin comes from one of squash's most successful families. His older brother Brett Martin and younger sister Michelle Martin were also top professional players. He grew up in the Sydney suburb of Engadine, where his parents built the local squash centre under their family home. He moved to Brisbane in his early teens and went to school at Everton Park State High School in Brisbane. Squash is a racket-and- ball sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow, rubber ball. The players alternate in striking the ball with their rackets onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court. The objective of the game is to hit the ball in such a way that the opponent is not able to play a valid return. Mohamed ElShorbagy ( ar, محمد الشوربجي, born 12 January 1991 in Alexandria) is an Egyptian-English professional squash player. He represented Egypt from a young age until June 2022, and is currently representing England. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 1 in November 2014, March 2018, February 2020, and again in July 2021. He won the Manchester open on 22 September 2020 after 192 days of recess due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for his 42nd PSA title, and winning the El Gouna Classic on 28 May 2021 for his 43rd PSA title, moving him to fifth on the all-time squash win list. Kasey Brown
Kasey Brown (born 1 August 1985) is a former professional squash player from Australia. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 5 in December 2011. Career Brown was born in Taree, New South Wales was the Australian junior champion in 2003 and 2004 and was then the senior champion in 2006 and in the same year also won the Australian Open title. Brown was coached by Rodney Martin and was based in Greenwich, Connecticut. During 2006, she won five WISPA events in Australia as well as the Central Open in New Zealand. Cameron Pilley
Cameron Pilley (born 27 October 1982) is a former professional squash player from Australia. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 11 in January 2011. Pilley was born in Grafton, New South Wales. From 2001 to 2005, he attended the Australian Institute of Sport on a squash scholarship, where he trained under Geoff Hunt and Rodney Martin. Dan Jenson (born 20 June 1975 in Brisbane, Australia) is a professional squash player from Australia. He joined the professional tour in 1993, and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 5 in 1999. He was considered to be one of the rising stars of the game in the late-1990s, but a series of injuries hampered his progress. Anthony Ricketts (born 12 March 1979 in Sydney, New South Wales) is a former professional squash player from Australia. Ricketts won the British Open in 2005, beating James Willstrop in the final 11–7, 11–9, 11–7. He also won the 2005 Tournament of Champions title, and the Super Series Finals in 2006. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games, Ricketts won a Silver Medal in the men's doubles partnering Stewart Boswell.
