The ''Roberts'' class of monitors of the Royal Navy consisted of two heavily gunned vessels built during the Second World War. They were the ''Roberts'', completed in 1941, and ''Abercrombie'', completed in 1943. Strebor Diecasting (the name comes from Roberts spelled backwards) was a die-casting company in Radcliffe, Lancashire which was founded in 1926 as the Roberts Company. In 1933 the name was changed to the Strebor Diecasting company. During WW2 it made war material, after the war it made metal toys, and eventually achieved widespread notice as makers of cylinder locks and locking devices for the motor trade during the 1960s and 1970s under the STREBOR and STRONIS trade names. Roberts is a company that makes syrup for the traditional Swedish drink julmust. The company was founded in 1910 by Harry Roberts and his father Robert Roberts (1866-1932). The company is located in Örebro, Sweden and currently has 15 employees. The current owner is Göran Roberts, a grandson of Harry. The company does not produce its own soft drinks, only the syrup for other suppliers. Apart from julmust they also make syrup for cola, various fruit drinks, and Champis Champis is a soft drink created by Robert Roberts in 1918 (it was sold already in 1910, but then under a different name). Roberts Radio is a British consumer electronics company that produces radios and related audio equipment. Based in Mexborough, the company has been making radios since its foundation in 1932 and claim to be the oldest active radio manufacturer in the UK. History Roberts Radio was founded in 1932 by Harry Roberts (1910-1969) of Mile End and Leslie Bidmead of Kilburn. They financed the down payment on a small factory in London's Soho by selling Bidmead's motorbike. A few years later they moved across Oxford Street to no. 41 Rathbone Place. During the Blitz in the Second World War, they moved to East Molesey in Surrey. During this time the majority of production shifted from domestic radios to morse code tappers. Roberts resumed producing domestic radios after the war and eventually gained a reputation of quality. Roberts Cycles is a custom bicycle frame building business, originally located in Selhurst near Croydon, South London, now located in East Sussex, England. Beginning soon after World War II, Charles (Charlie) Benjamin Roberts was a frame-builder for Holdsworth, Claud Butler and Freddie Grubb. In the 1960s, he founded Roberts Cycles at the family home in Sydenham - he was joined in the workshop by his oldest son Charles, and then by his youngest son Geoff. In 1979, Charlie Roberts died unexpectedly and Charles, began managing the business (which by then had moved from Sydenham to Anerley, South London) with his brother, Geoff and Derek Bailey continuing to build frames.
