Rob Dyrdek
Robert Stanley Dyrdek (born June 28, 1974) is an American entrepreneur, actor, producer, reality TV personality, and former professional skateboarder. He is best known for his roles in the MTV reality and variety shows ''Rob & Big'', ''Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory'', and '' Ridiculousness''. In addition to his television ventures, Dyrdek is a serial entrepreneur, founding several businesses through his venture studio, Dyrdek Machine, including Street League Skateboarding and Superjacket Productions (now Thrill One Media). Early life Dyrdek was born on June 28, 1974, in Kettering, Ohio, to Gene and Patty Dyrdek. He was involved in sports as a child and began skateboarding at the age of 11. ''Rob & Big'' is an American reality television series following the lives of professional skateboarder, actor, and producer Rob Dyrdek and his best friend and bodyguard Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. It premiered on November 4, 2006, and concluded on April 15, 2008, after three seasons. Reruns air on the Pluto TV channel FunnyAF, and on MTV's sister network, MTV2. The series was followed by '' Fantasy Factory''. Synopsis Most episodes follow a central task or event in the daily life of Rob and Big, such as attempting to break Guinness world records, having their home exorcised, skateboarding, buying 12 remote-control helicopters, and Rob's obsession with a net gun. ''Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory'' is an American reality television series that aired on MTV from February 8, 2009, to March 5, 2015. On September 17, 2013, it was announced that ''Fantasy Factory'' was renewed for a sixth season, which premiered on January 16, 2014. The sixth season was originally announced to be the final season, but in June 2014, MTV announced that ''Fantasy Factory'' would return for a seventh season. The seventh season premiered on January 1, 2015, and ended on March 5, 2015. Kettering is a city in Montgomery county in the U.S. state of Ohio. Almost entirely in Montgomery County, it is an inner suburb of Dayton, Ohio. ''Crashletes'' is an American sports television program that premiered on Nickelodeon on July 5, 2016. The program is hosted by Rob Gronkowski, Brandon Broady, and Stevie Nelson. Premise Brandon and Stevie, along with a guest host from the world of sports (e.g. basketball player DeAndre Jordan, snowboarder Shaun White, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, etc.) and an audience of kids, react to various viral videos of people failing at sports, which they call "crashletes." Nicktoons
Nicktoons is a collective name used by Nickelodeon for their original animated series. All Nicktoons are produced partly at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and list Nickelodeon's parent company (Viacom, now known as Paramount Global) in their copyright bylines. Since its launch in the late 1970s, Nickelodeon's schedule incorporated animation produced by other companies. ''Rob Dyrdek's Wild Grinders'', also known simply as ''Wild Grinders'', is an animated television series created by, produced by, and loosely based on the life of professional skateboarder and reality TV star Rob Dyrdek. It started out as a series of shorts produced by MoonScoop Group in 2009 and aired on Kabillion, which were adapted into a successful toy-line from Mattel that released in 2010. Following the shorts and merchandise line, a full series of 22-minute episodes was distributed by MoonScoop Entertainment and aired on the Nicktoons channel in 2012. The Breeders' Cup World Championships is an annual series of Grade I Thoroughbred horse races, operated by Breeders' Cup Limited, a company formed in 1982.
