Riederwald is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the ''Ortsbezirk A ''Stadtbezirk'' (also called ''Ortsbezirk'' in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate) is an administrative division in Germany, which is part of a larger city. It is translated as " borough". In Germany, ''Stadtbezirke'' usually only exist in a me ... Ost''. Riederwald is one of the smallest districts in Frankfurt. Created at the beginning of the last century in three sections as a residential development for the workers employed at the east harbor, the district still features the many different building styles: from flat roofed homes to two-story twin houses with mansard roofs.
