Reza Mohammadi
Reza Mohammadi ( fa, رضا محمدی; born February 11, 1986) is an Iranian football goalkeeper who plays for Damash Gilan in the Azadegan League. Career Early years Mohammadi started his career at Shahab Zanjan. He would later join Moghavemat Sepasi and then Paykan. However, he didn't get much first team action and in the 2010–11 season he played for Iranjavan in the Azadegan League. Sepahan In July 2011, he joined Sepahan with a two-year contract. In the 2011–12 season, he played two times for Sepahan in 2011–12 Iran Pro League and once in the 2011 AFC Champions League. His best appearance for Sepahan was in the return-leg match against Al-Sadd in the Quarter-Finals of 2011 AFC Champions League. Karaj
Karaj ( fa, کرج, ) is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran, and effectively a satellite city of Tehran. Shahab Gordan
Shahabeddin Gordan ( fa, شهاب گردان, born May 22, 1984) is an Iranian Football goalkeeper who plays for Foolad in the Persian Gulf Pro League and the Iran national football team. Club career Shahab Gordan joined Zob Ahan F.C. in 2009 after spending his entire career with F.C. Aboomoslem. Since he joined Zob Ahan F.C., he has been first-choice goalkeeper, he played almost every match in the IPL, and his performance helped to secure 2nd place on the 2009–10 IPL. Shahab Gordan also played every match in the 2010 Asian Champions League and made very important saves to lead Zob Ahan F.C. to the ACL final, including saving a penalty from Christian Wilhelmsson, against Saudi power-house Al-Hilal in the semi-finals. Iran Pro League
The Persian Gulf Pro League ( fa, لیگ برتر خلیج فارس, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Pro League ( fa, links=no, لیگ برتر ایران, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is the highest division of professional football in Iran. It is the top-level football league in Iran since its foundation. Each year, its top team becomes the Iranian football champion, and the two lowest finishers are relegated to Azadegan League. Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Sport Club ( fa, باشگاه فرهنگی ورزشی فولاد مبارکه سپاهان اصفهان, ''Bâšgâh-è Varzeši-ye Fulâd-è Mobârake-ye Sepâhân''), commonly known as Sepahan S.C., are an Iranian sports club based in Isfahan, best known for their association football branch that play in the Persian Gulf Pro League, the highest tier of Iranian football. 2010–11 Azadegan League
The 2010–11 Azadegan League was the 20th season of the Azadegan League and tenth as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 19 teams from the 2009–10 Azadegan League, three new teams relegated from the 2009–10 Persian Gulf Cup: Moghavemat Shiraz, Aboumoslem and Esteghlal Ahvaz and four new teams promoted from the 2009–10 2nd Division: Sepidrood as champions, Naft Masjed Soleyman, Shahrdari Yasouj and Foolad Yazd. Foolad Natanz replaced Sepahan Novin, Machine Sazi replaced Petroshimi Tabriz and Sanat Sari replaced Mehrkam Pars. Shensa Arak changed their name into Hamyari Arak. Asian Football Confederation
The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League.
