The company's original name and current trading name is Redemption Films. The Salvation Group was dissolved in November 2014. History Salvation's origins can be traced back to 1993, when founder Nigel Wingrove started up a film distribution label under the name Redemption Films. Since then, the company has broadened its scope to include the distribution of music and literature and the online model community, the Satanic Sluts. Gothic Fashion
Gothic fashion is a clothing style marked by dark, mysterious, antiquated, homogenous, and often genderless features. It is worn by members of the Goth subculture. Dress, typical gothic fashion includes dyed black hair, exotic hairstyles, dark lipstick and dark clothing. Both male and female goths can wear dark eyeliner, dark nail polish and lipstick (often black) for a dramatic effect. Male goths use cosmetics at a higher rate than other men. Redemption TV
Rockworld TV was a British television channel which featured rock music, and was aimed to highlight "underground" lifestyles and artists. It broadcast on Sky Digital ch. 378, and also streamed content online. Officially it was only on the air from 6pm until the early morning, although previews ran during the rest of the day (apart from a few hours of '' Teleshopping'' programmes), making Rockworld effectively a 24-hour channel. Rockworld broadcast many recorded concerts by metal and goth artists such as Machine Head, Nightwish, Killing Joke, Electric Eel Shock and Pitchshifter, and also broadcasts interviews with bands. Noise music is a genre of music that is characterised by the expressive use of noise within a musical context. This type of music tends to challenge the distinction that is made in conventional musical practices between musical and non-musical sound. Neofolk
Neofolk, also known as apocalyptic folk, is a form of experimental music blending elements of folk and industrial music, which emerged in punk rock circles in the 1980s. Neofolk may either be solely acoustic or combine acoustic folk instrumentation with various other sounds. Martial industrial is a syncretic offshoot of industrial music characterized by noise, dark ambient atmospheres, neofolk melodies, dark wave tunes and neoclassical orchestrations as well as the incorporation of audio from military marches, historical speeches and political, apolitical or metapolitical lyrics. Unlike other post-industrial genres, martial industrial is typically interested more in a particular worldview or philosophy than pure experimentalism. Industrial music is a genre of music that draws on harsh, mechanical, transgressive or provocative sounds and themes. AllMusic defines industrial music as the "most abrasive and aggressive fusion of rock and electronic music" that was "initially a blend of avant-garde electronics experiments ( tape music, musique concrète, white noise, synthesizers, sequencers, etc.) and punk provocation".
