Red Bull MotoGP Rookie Cup
The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a motorcycle racing series contested by young, up-and-coming motorcycle riders, who have not had experience in a motorcycle grand prix previously. The class was founded in 2007, and since then a number of the rookies have progressed through to the 125cc/Moto3 championship in MotoGP. Prior to the 2013 season, a 2-stroke KTM RC 125cc engine was used. The year 2013 saw a change of machinery to the 4-stroke KTM RC250RBR, following the introduction of the four-stroke Moto3 class. The Spaniard José Antonio Rueda was the first racer to win the Cup title and his first World Championship title in the same year (2022). Raúl Fernández González (born 23 October 2000) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing in the MotoGP World Championship with RNF MotoGP Team. Joshua Frederick Hook (born 9 January 1993) is an endurance world champion motorcycle racer from Australia. Currently competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship with F.C.C. TSR Honda France. He was the winner of 2011 Australia 125GP Championship on Aprilia. Career Early career Born in Taree, New South Wales, Hook started riding at the age of 14 months. He started dirt track riding in 2005, then moved to road racing in 2008, where he ranked 3rd in the MRRDA series nationally. The Endurance World Championship ( FIM EWC) is the premier worldwide endurance championship in motorcycle road racing. The championship season consists of a series of endurance races (with a duration of six, eight, twelve or twenty-four hours) held on permanent racing facilities. The 2018 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 70th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Joan Mir was the reigning series champion, but he did not defend his title as he joined Moto2. Jorge Martín Almoguera (born 29 January 1998), nicknamed the Martinator, is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer riding for Pramac Racing. 2020 MotoGP Season
The 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 72nd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Joan Mir Mayrata () (born 1 September 1997) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer riding for the Repsol Honda Team, who is best known for winning the 2020 MotoGP World Championship with Suzuki. He is the fourth Spanish rider to win the premier class title after Àlex Crivillé, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Márquez, and the second Mallorcan after Lorenzo.
