Real Valladolid
Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, S.A.D., or simply Real Valladolid () or Valladolid, is a professional football club based in Valladolid, Castile and León, Spain that competes in La Liga, the top tier of the Spanish league system. The club colours are violet and white, used on the kit in stripes from its foundation on 20 June 1928. The team plays its home games at the Estadio José Zorrilla, which seats 27,846 spectators. Valladolid's honours include a single trophy of great relevance, the defunct Copa de la Liga 1983–84. It has been runner-up in the Copa del Rey on two occasions ( 1949–50 and 1988–89), and has participated in two editions of the UEFA Cup ( 1984–85 and 1997–98) and also one edition of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup ( 1989–90). Estadio José Zorrilla
Estadio José Zorrilla () is a municipally-owned football stadium in Valladolid, Spain. The capacity of the stadium is 26,451 seats, making it the 22nd-largest stadium in Spain and the largest in Castile and León. History The stadium was built in 1982 and is named after poet José Zorrilla (1817–1893). Prior to this, they played in the old Estadio José Zorrilla. The first match to be played at the stadium was a Spanish Liga match 20 February 1982 between Real Valladolid and Athletic Bilbao which ended in a 1–0 victory for Valladolid, the only goal being scored in the 84th minute by Jorge Alonso. 1989–90 European Cup Winners' Cup
The 1989–90 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup was won for the only time by Sampdoria in the final against Anderlecht, 2–0 at Nya Ullevi in Gothenburg, on 9 May 1990. They went on to win 1990–91 Serie A, also being runners-up in the 1991–92 European Cup and in the 1988–89 European Cup Winners' Cup. Segunda División B
Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the '' Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams. The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Jorge Orosmán Da Silva
Jorge Orosmán da Silva Echeverrito (born 11 December 1961) is a Uruguayan former footballer who played as a striker. Nicknamed "Polilla" ("Moth" in English), he played professionally in four countries his own notwithstanding. In 2007, he embarked in a managerial career. Da Silva played nearly 30 times with Uruguay, representing the nation at the 1986 World Cup and the 1993 Copa América tournaments. Playing career Club Born in Montevideo, da Silva made his debut in 1977 for C.A. Fénix. He then had a short spell with Danubio F.C. before joining Defensor Sporting in 1978.
