Randy Churchill
Randy Churchill (born December 29, 1960) is a former Canadian stock car racing driver. Racing career He competed in 3 races during the inaugural NASCAR SuperTruck Series season in 1995. He achieved a top ten finish at Louisville Motor Speedway. He returned in 1996 for one race but failed to qualify. Churchill also competed in 47 ARCA Racing Series events between 1988 and 2000, achieving 1 win and 19 top ten finishes. He also competed in 3 Hooters Pro Cup Series events in 1998. Personal life He is the son of Jerry Churchill, who also competed in NASCAR, his father was also the first non-American driver to compete in NASCAR SuperTruck Series and Randy was the second. The Worldwide Express 250 for Carrier Appreciation is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Richmond Raceway. The race was initially held from 1995 to 2005 before being removed from the schedule in 2006. The race returned to the Truck Series schedule 14 years later in 2020. In the race's first stint on the Truck Series schedule, it was 200 laps. When it returned in 2020, the distance was 250 laps. In 2020, NASCAR removed the spring Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway in favor of a race at Richmond Raceway in the spring. This schedule change was done in a swap with Martinsville, which previously had two Truck Series races and zero Xfinity Series races and would now have one Truck Series race and one Xfinity Series race. The 1995 Total Petroleum 200 took place on July 15 at Colorado National Speedway in Dacono, Colorado. This event was 200 laps long and it was the eleventh race (first season) of the series where it held the closest margin of victory in the history of the NASCAR SuperTruck Series. As Butch Miller and Mike Skinner were side by side on the last lap of the race, as Miller won the race by 0.001 of a second, it was Miller's only victory.
