Randi L. Becker (born July 12, 1948) is an American politician of the Republican Party. She served as a member of the Washington Senate The Washington State Senate is the upper house of the Washington State Legislature. The body consists of 49 members, each representing a district with a population of nearly 160,000. The State Senate meets at the Legislative Building in Olympi ..., representing the 2nd Legislative District from 2009 to 2021. She was first elected to the State Senate in 2008. In March 2020, Becker announced that she would not seek reelection to an additional term in the state Senate. Washington State Senate Becker was first elected in 2008 with 51.6%. The Washington State Senate is the upper house of the Washington State Legislature. The body consists of 49 members, each representing a district with a population of nearly 160,000. The State Senate meets at the Legislative Building in Olympia. As with the lower House of Representatives, state senators serve without term limits, though senators serve four-year terms. Senators are elected from the same legislative districts as House members, with each district electing one senator and two representatives.
