Rajeev Alunkal is a prominent poet, lyricist, music director and malayalam orator. He is best known for writing lyrics on romantic and philosophical themes. He has written numerous poems and songs. He is the former Chairman of Kumaranashan Smarakam, Pallana, Govt of Kerala. he is the current Vice President of a national organization called "Sun India - Save our Nation", an anti-drug initiative. Usha Uthup Iyer (born 7 November 1947) is an Indian pop, filmi, jazz, and playback singer who sang songs in the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. "Darling", which she recorded with Rekha Bhardwaj for the film ''7 Khoon Maaf'', won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2012. Maradu Apartments Demolition Order
On 8 May 2019, the Supreme Court of India ordered five apartments in Maradu municipality in Kerala to be demolished within one month, for violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rules, although only four of these apartments had yet been constructed. These four, already occupied by tenants, were Jains Coral Cove (Jain Housing and Construction Ltd), H2O Holy Faith (Holy Faith Builders and Developers Pvt Ltd) and Alfa Serene (Alfa Ventures Private Ltd) and Golden Kayaloram (KP Varkey & VS Builders).
