Rubbadubbers
''Rubbadubbers'' is a 2003 British stop-motion children's television series produced by HIT Entertainment and Hot Animation. The series aired from 15 January 2003 to 3 November 2005 on BBC2 in the UK. Created by Peter Curtis, it features seven friendly tub toys who come to life and tell stories, led by a pink frog named Tubb. Hasbro licensed it to produce a toy line for the series. In the US, the series was broadcast on Nickelodeon, on Noggin and on PBS Kids Sprout. The series was originally announced under the working title "Plugg," which was an early name for the character of Tubb. BBC started commissioning the show in 2002 after two pilots were made: "Plugg" from 1999 and "Splish Splash Splosh!" from 2001.
