Rzeszów–Khmelnytskyi Powerline
The Rzeszów–Khmelnytskyi powerline is an Overhead power line, electrical power transmission line between Ukraine and Poland. It is the only 750 kV-powerline in Poland, and one of a few in the European Union. History The decision to build this powerline was made in 1977 and it went in operation in 1985. The line went out of service after Poland joined the synchronous grid of Continental Europe (UCTE). However, there was a plan to re-activate this line after 2010 by constructing a back-to-back conversion station on the Polish end of the line, but this was not implemented. In 2016 Energoatom announced it was considering disconnecting unit 2 of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant from the Ukrainian power grid and using the powerline to connect to the Burshtyn TES energy island which operates on the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, European power grid, to facilitate exports to Poland and Hungary. National road 19 () is part of the National roads in Poland, Polish national road network. The Vetrino–Isaccea–Yuzhnoukrainsk powerline is one out of three 750 kilovolts powerline running from Ukraine to the European Union. History Construction of a 750 kV powerline from Ukraine through Romania to Bulgaria was agreed on together with construction of the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant. Albertirsa–Zakhidnoukrainska–Vinnytsia Powerline
The Albertirsa–Zakhidnoukrainska–Vinnytsia powerline is a power transmission line between Ukraine and Hungary. It is a part of the former "Mir" transmission system between the Soviet Union and Comecon countries. As of today, it is the only 750 kV-powerline in Hungary and one of the few powerlines operated with this voltage in the European Union. Burshtyn TES
Burshtyn TPP is a coal-fired power plant of Zakhidenergo located in Ivano-Frankivsk Raion south-east from Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine. It was built in the Soviet era and is now part of Rinat Akhmetov's holdings. The plant has two chimneys which were built in 1966 are also used as high-voltage pylon.
