''Russian Roulette'' is the first extended play and debut major release from South Korean girl group Spica. It was released on February 8, 2012 with the song of same name as the promotional song. The EP was re-released on March 29, 2012 with the name ''Painkiller''. The song of same name was used to promote the re-release. Background After releasing "Doggedly" as a prologue single, on January 31, 2012, B2M Entertainment officially announced that the group would have their formal debut with a mini-album, titled ''Russian Roulette''. Spica (, stylized as SPICA) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2012 under B2M Entertainment. The group consists of Kim Boa, Park Sihyun, Park Narae, Yang Jiwon and Kim Bohyung. Their pre-debut single "Doggedly" was released on January 10, 2012, followed by their debut mini-album, '' Russian Roulette'', on February 8, 2012. They officially disbanded on February 6, 2017, though Bohyung has confirmed a possible reunion in the future. Rainbow (Hangul: 레인보우) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2009 by DSP Media. The group is composed of seven members: Woori, Seungah, Jaekyung, Noeul, Yoonhye, Jisook and Hyunyoung. A revolver (also called a wheel gun) is a repeating handgun that has at least one barrel and uses a revolving cylinder containing multiple chambers (each holding a single cartridge) for firing. Music on Top (Korean: 뮤직온탑) is a South Korean music program broadcast on pay television network JTBC between 2011 and 2012. Hosted by Yoon Doo-joon of B2ST and actor Lee Hyun-woo, it aired live every Wednesday from Hoam Art Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul. Following the demise of similar music shows, such as Channel A (Korea)'s ''K-Pop Con'' and Maeil Broadcasting Network's ''Show! K Music'', that belonged to other small networks, the show was placed on an indefinite hiatus after its March 14, 2012 broadcast. ''Inkigayo'' ( ko, 인기가요; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. Ryan S. Jhun ( ko, 라이언 전) is a South Korean songwriter and producer. Jhun is known for his work with various K-pop soloists and idol groups, getting his start through acts from SM Entertainment such as Shinee, Super Junior, f(x), Taeyeon, Exo, NCT and TVXQ.
