Ruining It For Everybody
''Ruining It for Everybody'' is the second album by Iwrestledabearonce. It was released on July 26, 2011 through Century Media Records and is the first studio full-length since 2009's '' It's All Happening''. This is the last album with original vocalist Krysta Cameron who departed the band in late 2012. Before preparing for their second record, the band released several remix editions of their songs featured on their debut; most notably, the 2010 remix EP '' It's All Dubstep''. Style and lyrical themes Guitarist Steven Bradley states that "It's heavier, catchier, and better organized than anything we've done so far. We took a really spastic blend of genres and made it more cohesive." Iwrestledabearonce (often stylized in all lowercase; abbreviated as IWABO) was an American metalcore band formed in 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana. In their nine years together, they released one EP, four full-length albums, and two remixed releases. History Formation, EP and ''It's All Happening'' (2008–2010) Prior to Iwrestledabearonce, guitarist Steven Bradley played in the Louisiana mathcore band Statues Cry Bleeding, the band was active around 2004 and broke up sometime in 2006. Bradley met Krysta Cameron at which point, decided to start rehearsing music with her and some other musicians in the area when he was impressed with her growl vocals. Iwrestledabearonce was officially formed during 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The origin of this band's name was inspired by a comment made by Gary Busey on Comedy Central. David Anthony Katz (born March 8, 1965) is an American songwriter and record producer. He has written and/or produced for artists including Train, Boys Like Girls, Gym Class Heroes, Good Charlotte, Mandy Moore, Neon Trees, Cobra Starship, 3OH!3, Coheed and Cambria, All Time Low, Metro Station, We The Kings, Uncle Kracker, Sugar Ray, Matisyahu, Blues Traveler, Tom Jones, Hot Chelle Rae, David Cook, Big Time Rush, Chiddy Bang, Kelly Rowland, Arrested Development, and Hollywood Undead, among others. Corpse Paint
Corpse paint is a style of body painting, used mainly by black metal bands for concerts and band photos. The body painting is used to make the musicians appear inhuman, corpse-like, or demonic, and is perhaps "the most identifiable aspect of the black metal aesthetic." Corpse paint typically involves making the face and neck white (or pale), sometimes with red marks to signify blood or laceration, and making the area around the eyes and mouth black. Musicians will often have a trademark style. Other colors are seldom used, yet there are notable exceptions, such as Attila Csihar's use of neon colors and the bands Satyricon and Dødheimsgard experimenting with color as well. ''It's All Happening'' is the debut full-length album by Iwrestledabearonce. It was released on June 2, 2009 through Century Media Records. Background Iwrestledabearonce wrote and recorded ''It's All Happening'' within the course of 2008 through 2009 upon their signing to Century Media. Upon its release on June 2, 2009, it sold 4,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 121 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album landed at position No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart. On June 29, 2010, the band re-released ''It's All Happening'' as a 3-disc special edition that includes the regular album, a remix album entitled "It's All Remixed!", and a DVD.
