Rubén Suárez
Rubén Suárez Estrada (; born 19 February 1979) is a Spanish former Association football, footballer. Mainly an Midfielder#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder, he could also play as a Forward (association football)#Second striker, second striker. He appeared in 283 Segunda División matches over 13 seasons, totalling 49 goals for Sporting de Gijón, Elche CF, Elche, Levante UD, Levante and UD Almería, Almería. He added 61 games and 13 goals in La Liga with the two last clubs, and also competed professionally in China and Greece. Club career Born in Gijón, and a product of local Sporting de Gijón's famed youth academy, ''Mareo'', Suárez played six seasons with the Asturias, Asturians' first team in the Segunda División. The 2009–10 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 29 August 2009, and the season ended on 19 June 2010. Real Betis, Numancia and Recreativo de Huelva are the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. The teams which were promoted from Segunda División B were: Cádiz (champion), Cartagena (runner-up), Real Unión (play-off winner) and Villarreal B (play-off winner). Alexandre "Álex" Geijo Pazos (born 11 March 1982) is a former footballer who played as a striker. He amassed Segunda División totals of 216 matches and 70 goals over seven seasons, representing five clubs in the process.
