Royal Republic
Royal Republic is a Swedish rock band from Malmö. The band is currently signed to Universal Music and managed by Odyssey Music Network. History 2007–2012: Foundation and ''We Are the Royal'' Royal Republic was founded in 2007. Their first album, ''We Are the Royal'', was recorded under the supervision of Swedish producer Anders Hallbäck in Malmö. Hallbäck also plays bass on the single ''All Because Of You'' and even appears as the bassist in the music video. The album was mixed at ToyTown Studios and completed with the help of Stefan Glaumann. On 6 August 2009, the record was released in Sweden and received wide acclaim from critics, fans and radio stations. All three singles reached number 1 on Bandit Rock's Most-Wanted-List. Adam Grahn
John Carl Adam Grahn (born 4 November 1984 in Karlskrona) is a Swedish rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is founder and frontman of the Swedish rock band Royal Republic. Life Adam Grahn was born in Karlskrona into a family of musicians. He is the son of Håkan Grahn and Monika Lindeborg-Grahn. He has a younger brother, songwriter, and producer Max Grahn. When touring with his parents, he played his first show with them at the age of five on the drums. At the age of eleven, he began playing guitar. He himself enjoys many bands such as Metallica, Tom Petty, U2, Crosby, Stills and Nash. Career Adam studied Music at the Malmö Academy of Music. In 2007 he founded the band "Royal Republic" along with three other students Hannes Irengård (guitar), Jonas Almén (bass) and Per Andreasson (drums). Bandit Rock is a Swedish radio station which plays rock, punk and heavy metal. The station, now a part of the Nordic Entertainment Group, was founded by American ex-pat Thomas McAlevey and began broadcasting in Stockholm in 1994. Under McAlevey's leadership, Bandit Radio, “The Rock Home of Stockholm”, quickly achieved cult status. McAlevey and a group of private investors sold the station to the RTL Group (previously CLT Multi Media) in 1996. The (German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually in Germany. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Rock am Ring festival was founded by in 1985. Tom Coyne (music Engineer)
Thomas J. Coyne (December 10, 1954April 12, 2017) was an American mastering engineer. Early life and education Coyne was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and grew up in nearby Union, where he graduated from Roselle Catholic High School in 1972. He attended Kean College where he received a degree in Commercial Design. Career Following college, Coyne's first job was at Dick Charles Recording where Lee Hulko, former owner of Sterling Sound, got his first job in the states after arriving from Thunder Bay, Ontario. In the six months Coyne worked at Dick Charles, he watched Dick master records on the lathe and soon began cutting his own after hours. Coyne then was hired at Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs, assisting under Dominic Romeo, known for cutting 45s for The Rolling Stones, The Four Seasons, Frankie Valli, Dionne Warwick, and others.
