Rovshan Akbarov
Lieutenant General Rovshan Telman oğlu Akbarov () is an Azerbaijani general and military leader. Early life and career He was born in Baku in 1965. From 1972 to 1979, he received his secondary education in secondary school No.42. In 1979, he entered the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum. In 1982 he entered the Kiev Higher Combined Arms Command School (now the Odessa Military Academy). After graduating, he went serve in the Soviet Army's Transcaucasian Military District, where he was appointed commander of a platoon in the 342th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 75th Motor Rifle Division in Nakhchivan. In 1987, he was sent to serve in Afghanistan during the Soviet–Afghan War. National Hero Of Azerbaijan
The National Hero of Azerbaijan ( az, Azərbaycan milli qəhrəmanı) is the highest Hero (title), national title in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The title was named on 25 March 1992, and the "Qizil Ulduz" Medal awarded as a sign of receiving this title was established by a separate law in 15 July 1992. The law on the title has been in effect since 25 December 1995. It can only be awarded once to the same person. The July 2020 Armenian–Azerbaijani clashes began on 12 July 2020 between the Armenian Armed Forces and Azerbaijani Armed Forces. The 3rd Army Corps ( az, 3-cü Ordu Korpusu), also referred to as the Shamkir Army Corps is a regional military formation of the Azerbaijani Land Forces, concentrated against Armenian occupied territories in Nagorno-Karabakh.
