Romesh Brij Sharma is an Indian film producer, actor and director. Under his banner Romesh Films, he has been actively involved in the production of films and television shows for over 30 years. Personal life His son Karan Sharma is also an actor and has worked in Indian and Mauritian films/television shows. His daughter Neema Sharma is married to Ayaan Ali Khan, the son of sarod player Amjad Ali Khan. Career One of the most notable movies produced by Romesh Sharma was the 1991 blockbuster film '' Hum'' starring Amitabh Bachchan. In that movie, he also played a small role of Jumalina Gonsalves' (played by Kimi Katkar) brother. In 1987 he produced Diljalaa starring Jackie Shroff. Karan Romesh Sharma (born 26 October 1981) is an Indo-Mauritian actor. His first and only film to date was released in 2005 Bollywood film '' Dil Jo Bhi Kahey...'' starring opposite Amitabh Bachchan which was directed and co-produced by his father Romesh Sharma. ''Siddhartha'' is a 1972 Indo-American drama mystery film based on the 1922 novel of the same name by Hermann Hesse, directed by Conrad Rooks. It was shot on location in Northern India, and features work by noted cinematographer Sven Nykvist. The locations used for the film were the holy city of Rishikesh and the private estates and palaces of the Maharajah of Bharatpur. Kantilal Rathod was an Indian film maker known for his work in Gujarati and Hindi cinema. He directed the 1969 Gujarati film '' Kanku'' which won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati at the 17th National Film Awards. ''Sunehra Sansar'' is a 1975 Bollywood film directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. It stars Rajendra Kumar, with Mala Sinha as his wife, and Hema Malini as his past love, who has re-entered his life to seek vengeance for abandoning her years ago.
