Rodrigo García Barcha (born 24 August 1959) is a Colombian and Mexican television and film director, screenwriter, author and former cinematographer, best known for his films ''Nine Lives (2005 film), Nine Lives'' (2005), ''Mother and Child (2009 film), Mother and Child'' (2009), ''Albert Nobbs'' (2011), ''Last Days in the Desert'' (2015), as well as his work on the HBO Drama (film and television), drama series ''In Treatment (U.S. TV series), In Treatment''. Álvaro Mutis Jaramillo (August 25, 1923 – September 22, 2013) was a Colombian poet, novelist, and essayist. His best-known work is the novel sequence '' The Adventures and Misadventures of Maqroll'', which revolves around the character of Maqroll el Gaviero.
