Rodoč
Rodoč is a populated settlement in the Mostar municipality, just south of the city of Mostar, making it a suburb. It is from Mostar, from Sarajevo, from Dubrovnik and from Split. History During the Bosnian War of the 1990s, Serb forces temporally occupied the southern parts of the city of Mostar, including Rodoč. They burned down about 80% of the houses. Many people were either killed or taken to camps, predominantly in Bileća or in Montenegro. For the tortures in the camps located in Montenegro couple of people were prosecuted as war criminals in Montenegro. After the liberation of the southern parts of the city and Rodoč, many people returned to their homes. Heliodrom Camp
The Heliodrom camp ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Logor Heliodrom, Логор Хелиодром) or Heliodrom prison was a detention camp that operated between September 1992 and April 1994. It was run by the Military Police of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia to detain Bosniaks, Serbs, and other non-Croats and was located at a former military facility of the JNA in Rodoč, south of the town of Mostar. The camp The camp consisted of a sports hall and a three-story central prison building. Conditions at the Heliodrom camp were inhumane, with severe overcrowding, inadequate medical and sanitary facilities, insufficient food and water, inadequate ventilation, and in the summer, suffocating heat. HNK Branitelj
HNK Branitelj () is a football club based in Rodoč, Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They played the 2020–21 season at the 4th level of the Bosnia-Herzegovina football pyramid. Their home ground is Stadion Sportskog Centra in Rodoč which holds about 1,000 people. History The team has played in the second tier- Prva Liga FBiH following promotion in 2010–11 when they won Druga Liga FBIH. The team's biggest achievement is playing in the quarterfinals of Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Cup when they were defeated by FK Željezničar 9–0 on aggregate. Bileća
Bileća ( sr-cyrl, Билећа) is a town and municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, the town has a population of 7,476 inhabitants, while the municipality has 10,807 inhabitants. History The first traces of civilization in Bileća date from the Neolithic period, although archaeological sites are insufficiently explored. Croatian Republic Of Herzeg-Bosnia
The Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia () was an unrecognized geopolitical entity and quasi-state in Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
